Match the edition, platform and entitlement before comparing prices. A regional Steam quote is a dated example, not a worldwide price guarantee.

Price and pre-purchase: read the actual checkout
The Steam listing checked on 2 November 2026 displayed an Australian-dollar example: A$94.95 regular price and A$85.45 with the advertised 10% pre-purchase reduction, ending 10 November. This is the region returned by that listing, not a US, UK or worldwide quote. Read the final price and currency on your own store account.
Compare like with like: the same edition, the same platform and the same entitlement. Keep a dated note of what the offer includes before deciding that a lower figure represents the same product. This wiki does not sell keys, guarantee regional activation or infer an additional premium edition from a retailer’s promotional artwork.

Preview access and subscription are separate routes
The official announcement gives qualifying pre-purchases through SEGA-approved digital retailers continued Preview access after the free period. It also identifies Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass as Preview subscription routes. The release announcement confirms PC subscription availability and separately describes Console access; do not treat those as identical products.
A subscription entitlement and a permanent purchase answer different needs. Check the plan you actually hold, the platform you will use and the product page’s current terms. This guide does not promise that an entitlement lasts after a subscription ends or that a key for one storefront activates another. The release-date page owns the access timetable.
Choose an edition by the device and experience
Official announcements distinguish desktop FM27, FM27 Console, Mobile through Netflix and Touch through Apple Arcade. Those are platform experiences, not proof that every desktop storefront sells a deluxe tier. No separately verified deluxe-edition benefit list is published here. The platforms guide contains the edition-by-device comparison.
Before buying, complete three checks: the machine meets the requirements for that edition, the account owns the intended access route and the checkout shows the right region and currency. Keep purchase evidence if you need retailer support. Save continuity is a separate question from entitlement: a continuing career still requires access to the appropriate game.
