Use the current store requirements for the desktop edition and your operating system. Minimum specifications do not promise a particular frame rate, database size or match-view performance.

The table below summarises the current desktop store listing. Compare your operating system, processor, memory, graphics and free storage with the relevant column. Laptop model names can differ from desktop names, and a shared marketing family is not proof that two chips provide the same features. Follow the source link for the full list before relying on an abbreviated table.
The Windows minimum listing explicitly requires a 64-bit system, SSE4.2 and SSSE3 processor support, Shader Model 5.0 graphics and DirectX 11. These are compatibility requirements rather than results from our own hardware benchmark. The page does not invent a guaranteed frame rate or a promise about how many leagues any particular machine will comfortably simulate.

Separate the edition from the workload
This is a desktop PC and Mac checklist. Console, Mobile and Touch are different products with their own devices, stores and access terms. A desktop feature article or a PC specification does not establish that another edition has the same requirements or the same controls. Use the platforms guide when the main question is which product to use.
Within the desktop game, the workload you choose and the match presentation you use can affect the experience. The store’s minimum column is not a recommendation to maximise every available option. Begin with a manageable setup and inspect the actual behaviour on your machine before committing to a long career built around assumptions that have not been tested.
Check the exact laptop component
Use the full processor and graphics model shown by the system, then compare it with the laptop alternatives on the live store page. Do not replace that check with a generic description such as a recent laptop or a gaming brand.
Use a short first-run check before a long save
Confirm the intended edition launches, inspect the match view and review whether navigation and processing are comfortable for the workload you selected. Keep enough free storage for the stated requirement and normal local use. If you encounter a problem, record the actual hardware, operating system and game version rather than treating a generic requirement table as a complete diagnosis.
This wiki has not benchmarked the listed components or verified every driver combination. Store requirements can change, so use the dated table as a reading aid and recheck the official listing when the build or your machine changes. The beginner guide then helps keep the first session manageable once the compatibility question has been resolved.
