The announced release date
Sports Interactive’s release announcement gives 10 November 2026 as the launch date for Football Manager 27. This page records the announcements available on 28 October 2026. It is a dated reference, so check the official store for the edition and region you intend to use if you are reading it after that point.
The main release announcement discusses desktop, Console and Mobile editions, while a separate announcement confirms FM27 Touch on Apple Arcade from the same date. A shared launch date does not mean every edition has identical features or the same distribution arrangements. Use our platforms guide to separate the products before making a purchase decision.
Free Launch Preview: 29 October–3 November
The official preview announcement sets out a free PC/Mac play period from 29 October to 3 November. This is the announced Launch Preview opportunity, rather than a claim that the full game will remain permanently free. Check the official announcement and the relevant store for precise availability, regional timing and the steps needed to participate.
The archived announcement also describes paid access after the free period and before full release. Do not assume that the word beta, used casually in searches or videos, identifies a separate product with different terms. We use the official name Launch Preview so that the information here maps to the publisher’s own explanation.
What to check before you start
Check the store page for your hardware requirements, edition and current access terms. This wiki does not mirror a changing price or invent a single worldwide unlock time. If you plan to continue a preview save, review the current official save-continuation guidance for your intended destination edition rather than assuming every platform can share it.
Our beginner guide can help organise your first session, and the features overview explains the announced systems that may be unfamiliar to returning players. Creator videos supplied with the project show early gameplay impressions; they are useful context but do not override the official release schedule. We will only revise this page when there is a source to support the change.
