What this free-agent list establishes
The eight records below are a factual sample from a published first-season FM27 reference list dated 30 October. That publication describes a July starting point. The rows preserve its ages and positions, while the club field says the source listed the player as free. They are not a live feed of current real-world contracts.
A different start date, database update or completed move in your save can change availability. Search for the player inside your game and inspect the current contract before making plans around a free transfer. We have not substituted the source’s editorial recommendation scores for missing game CA or PA; those values remain absent in this view.
No transfer fee still leaves decisions to make
Compare the full arrangement shown during negotiations, including ongoing pay and any other commitments. The football task matters too: do you need a regular starter, cover for a congested period or a different option from the bench? Define that expectation before comparing an experienced candidate with an existing squad member.
For a physically demanding responsibility, review current fitness, the evidence in the report and the minutes you can reasonably ask for. Age alone does not prove that a player can or cannot do the job. Our snapshot does not provide stamina, pace or contract demands, so it cannot settle those questions for you.

Keep a shortlist and a fallback
Save candidates and compare no more than four at a time for a single decision. The comparison keeps unknown values visible instead of turning them into zeroes. If no candidate fits the responsibility and terms, keeping internal cover or postponing the move may be more useful than signing a familiar name simply because the source lists no club.
Export your filtered list if you need to keep notes outside the wiki. The file retains the reference classification, source ID and date, so that it remains clear which facts still need checking. Revisit the actual contract status before every offer rather than treating an old export as permanent evidence.

CA/PA use the reported 1–200 scale. A PA band must fit entirely within your minimum and maximum; lower-bound and ceiling sorting are separate choices. Unknown values are excluded by numeric filters. FC is the source code for central forward.
